Rachael Goldman, Ph.D.
Dr. Rachael Goldman has been a personal property appraiser for the past decade in the fields of Antiquities, Judaica, Ethnographic Art, Hungarian Art and Collectibles and even office furniture. She holds degrees from Rutgers University, Sotheby's Art Institute and City University of New York. Dr. Goldman teaches regularly at Rutgers, New York University, City University of New York and the Cooper Hewitt Design Graduate Program. Rachael knows several languages Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, Italian and German. She has published articles in the Bard Graduate Center Journal and Bryn Mawr Classical Review. Having served as a fellow at the American Academy in Rome, Rachael gives tours throughout Rome and in New York City. Her manuscript is on cultural constructions of color in ancient Rome.
